We were very fortunate to welcome a group of extremely willing volunteers from Tesco’s finance head office in Welwyn Garden City recently.

The group joined us as part of a “Community Fortnight”  where colleagues could spend a day or two out of the office to volunteer for local (Hertfordshire and North London) charities/community organisations/projects. The idea very much being to encourage colleagues to make a positive contribution to their local communities and for the business as a whole to use its scale for good.

We were delighted to open our gates to the team who made a huge impact on the site.

Not only did the team manage to repot shrubs, sow seeds, plant bulbs and cut back perennials for next year but they covered most of our nursery paths with fresh wood chip leaving the site looking immaculate.

A big Thank You to Daniel Aked who organised the event and Rob Whitely and his team for their fantastic work.

We very much hope you will come back next year.
